“Galenus Medic” is provincial medical clinic, the home to a professional and knowledgeable medical team devoted to providing with the best treatment in our area. It's located in Quebec province in downtown of Montreal, between Westmount and Villa-Maria boroughs. It's a division of the “Galenus Med Canada”, which is a federal corporation. We are following both federal and provincial regulations closely, in order to offer the best standards and services to individuals and families. Our mission
“Galenus Medic” strives to provide both longitudinal and episodic care to all patients. We are the only medical center that still offers walk-in services for patients. During the pandemic that the majority of hospitals restrict the access for better serving Covid-19 patients, we understand how important the accessibility or a doctor can be for everyone, especially to families with children or individuals with immediate need.
All other clinics offer only a long-list appointments and especially patients without any family doctor are not able to receive a long-term follow up, we decided to offer a "family-like" service to all our patients, as we believe that everyone deserves urgent quality care with a human touch, from start to finish, no matter the size or scope of issue.
Our goal is to be available any time you need us for medical attention or guidance, and to help keep you and your family in good health.

About the name
“Aelius Galenus” or “Claudius Galenus” 129 - 212), often Anglicized as Galen and sometimes known as “Galen of Pergamon” was a Greek physician, surgeon and philosopher in the Roman Empire. Considered to be one of the most accomplished of all medical researchers of antiquity, Galen influenced the development of various scientific disciplines, including anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and neurology, as well as philosophy and logic. Galen's name Γαληνός (Galēnós) comes from the adjective γαληνός (galēnós), means “calm”.
